Pillar one — practical support

The practical side, handled.

Task-based support for the unfamiliar admin of arriving somewhere new. Tell us what you need and we'll put together a package that fits — no guesswork, no surprises.

Start here

Arrival Orientation & Consultation

The foundation service — advisory support and coordination across everything else on this page.

  • General advisory support & information research
  • Coordination & process guidance
  • Communication & transport guidance
  • Local area orientation
  • Assistance understanding local services
  • General information on accommodation options
Time saver

Administrative & Appointment Coordination

The paperwork that piles up while you're also trying to unpack boxes.

  • Help completing and organising routine forms
  • Email support & general correspondence
  • Arranging and coordinating appointments
  • General everyday personal-admin support

Support and facilitation only. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your own information and for entering into any contract or application in your own name. We don't complete, lodge or advise on anything requiring a licensed or registered professional.

Most requested

Rental Search & Application Support

Practical support in your own rental search — understanding the process, not negotiating on your behalf.

  • Researching & shortlisting advertised listings against your budget, location and commute
  • Booking inspections in your name, with transport and attendance
  • Explaining the local application process, documents and terminology
  • Helping you complete and lodge your own application

We assist you only. We do not act as a real estate agent, negotiate lease terms, rent or bond, sign any lease, hold or handle money for you or any landlord, or receive commission or any other benefit from a landlord, agent or property manager.

Peace of mind

Mail Forwarding & Parcel Management

A reliable postal address while yours is still in transit.

  • Postal address for receiving parcels & correspondence
  • Forwarding of documents & communications
  • Parcel collection & delivery coordination
First week

Banking & Financial Account Setup

Booking it, getting you there, and getting you through the paperwork first time.

  • Help booking the branch appointment
  • Explaining what identification to bring
  • Support completing account and card application forms
  • Taking you to the branch and attending with you

Practical help booking appointments, getting you there and completing forms only. This is not financial advice — we don't recommend banks, accounts, cards or any financial product, and we're not licensed to. We also don't provide an address for your application.

Getting connected

Utilities, Mobile & Internet Connection

Power, water, internet and a working mobile number, sorted in the right order.

  • Utility connections and disconnections
  • Mobile plan setup and number activation
  • Home internet connection guidance
  • Coordinating with providers on your behalf where they allow it
On the road

Driver's Licence Transfer & Application

Working out which pathway applies to you, and what each step actually requires.

  • Explaining the licence conversion or application pathway
  • Help identifying and organising required documents
  • Support booking appointments and assessments
  • General orientation to local road rules and conditions

General guidance only. We are not the Department of Transport or any licensing authority, we can't apply, sit assessments or guarantee any outcome on your behalf, and requirements can change — always confirm with the relevant authority.

Everyday help

Everyday Logistics & Local Services

The everyday logistics that quietly add up in the first few weeks.

  • Food delivery platform assistance
  • Grocery service guidance
  • General lifestyle orientation & local service information

Need something not listed here?

These are the requests that come up most often, not a closed menu. If there's a practical task you need help with, ask — we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we can do, or point you to someone who can.

How it works

Four stages, one point of contact

Before you arrive

Initial consultation, orientation planning and help getting documents and correspondence organised ahead of time.

Landing

Transport, temporary accommodation and the first-week essentials that are hard to research from overseas.

Settling in

Banking, utilities, licensing, local services and the rental process as you find your feet.

Ongoing support

Administrative help, mail handling and practical guidance whenever a new question comes up.

How this pillar is billed

Hourly, in 15-minute increments

Settling-in services are billed by the hour, pro-rata per minute, so you only pay for the time actually used. We provide a written estimate before any larger piece of work begins.

Looking for the other pillar?

Mentorship is priced differently

Mentoring runs as fixed-price packages agreed upfront rather than by the hour. See how mentorship works.

Where we draw the line

Scope of this pillar

Every service on this page is practical assistance provided alongside you. It is never advice reserved to a licensed or registered professional.

  • Not a real estate agency — we don't negotiate, sign, hold money or take commission.
  • Not financial advice — banking help is logistical only; we don't recommend products.
  • Not a migration agency — anything touching visas goes to a Registered Migration Agent.
  • Not a licensing authority — we guide, but we can't apply or guarantee outcomes.
