Mentorship that starts where the paperwork ends.
Once the bank account is open and the lease is signed, a different set of questions starts: how does work actually operate here, how do you lead in it, and how do you keep your footing while you do. That's what mentoring is for.
Who this is for
Most of our mentoring clients are within a year or two of arriving in Australia — that's the situation we know best. But nothing here requires you to be new. If you're already established and want structured guidance on your work, your team or your leadership, mentorship is open to you too.

How an engagement runs
Every mentoring engagement follows the same structure, whichever topics you choose. It's built around goals you set, reviewed at intervals we agree.
Structured intake
A first session to understand your situation and identify what you actually want to be different by the end.
An agreed plan
A simple written development plan — the objectives, the topics we'll work through, and how we'll know it's working.
Sessions
An agreed number of sessions, around 60 minutes each, in person or by call, with reasonable between-session contact during business hours.
Progress reviews
Periodic check-ins against the plan — what's moved, what hasn't, and what the next block should focus on.
Session frequency and block length are agreed with you before the engagement begins. Outcomes depend on your own effort and circumstances, and are not guaranteed by Fore Consultancy.
Fixed-price packages
Mentoring is agreed as a fixed-cost block of sessions rather than billed by the hour, so the cost is known before you start. Sessions are held by mutual agreement between us.
Practical support is hourly
Settling-in services are billed by the hour in 15-minute increments. See settling-in support.
Scope of mentoring
Mentoring touches on work, money and wellbeing, so it's worth being unusually clear about where it stops. Your mentor provides general practical, professional, leadership and management guidance only.
- Not a counsellor, psychologist or therapist — no clinical or mental-health support is provided. If you need it, please speak to your GP or a registered professional.
- Not a licensed financial adviser — no advice on financial products, investments or superannuation.
- Not a registered migration agent — no advice on visas, applications or migration status.
- Not a lawyer or tax agent — no legal or taxation advice.
- Not a recruiter or employer — no placement, and no guarantee of employment or salary.
- Not your manager — mentoring is guidance alongside your job, never a supervisory role within it.
