Overview
Fore Consultancy ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
We collect only the information reasonably required to provide our services. Depending on the services you engage us for, this may include your name, contact details, address, and identity documents such as passport or Australian driver licence details. Where you engage us for mentoring, we may also record the goals and development plan you agree with us.
How we use it
We use personal information only for providing our services, communication, billing, record keeping and service delivery, unless you agree otherwise.
Disclosure
We may disclose information to: approved third-party service providers engaged to deliver requested services; third parties required to deliver requested services; and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the third-party service providers we rely on to operate this website and communicate with you may store or process information outside Australia. In particular, the enquiry form on our Contact page is processed by a third-party form-handling provider, which means the name, email address, phone number and message you submit through it may be transmitted to and stored on servers located overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure such providers handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you would prefer not to use the form, you can contact us directly by email or phone using the details on our Contact page.
Cookies and website analytics
This website is a static site and does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not use your information for advertising or profiling. Our website host and any embedded third-party resources (such as web fonts) may record standard technical information, including your IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the page to you. If we introduce website analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, interference, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Data breach notification
Where we become aware of a data breach involving your personal information that is likely to result in serious harm, we will comply with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including notifying you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law, and take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it thereafter.
Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details on our Contact page.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us directly in the first instance. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
